GENERALS SALES CONDITIONS
To benefit from the services offered by the Camping la Chapoulière, please read the general terms and conditions below carefully. These conditions govern the sale of holiday stays and are valid from the moment the reservation is made. Booking a stay at the Camping la Chapoulière implies that you fully accept our general terms and conditions.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
-The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of The Camping la Chapoulière and after the deposit has been received and after the reservation contract has been duly completed and signed, or after the general terms and conditions of sale have been accepted when booking online.
-All reservations must be accepted by the Camping la Chapoulière. The direction is free to accept or refuse a reservation, depending on availability, and generally speaking, any circumstances that may affect the execution of the reservation made. The Camping la Chapoulière offers family oriented stays, in the traditional sense, the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation which would be contrary to this principle, or which would seek to divert it.
-The reservation of a campsite pitch or rental accommodation is made on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation without the prior consent of the Camping la Chapoulière.
-Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
-Pitch or accommodation numbers are not guaranteed. In case of planning necessity or in case of force majeure, the campsite reserves the right to change the accommodation or pitch number.
Camping pitch : The basic pitch rental package includes the place for a tent, a caravan, a car and the access to the sanitary blocks and the services, 1 or 2 person. The pitch is rented from the day of your arrival (from 2 pm in high season, and free arrival in low and mid-season) to the day of your departure at 12 pm. For any departure after 12 pm, an extra night must be paid. 6 persons maximum are authorized on each pitch.
Camping pitch with private sanitary facilities: Same basis as the camping pitches, only access to your private sanitary facilities is only guaranteed from 6 p.m. A deposit of €80 will be requested upon arrival.
Mobil-home renta l: In mid and high season rentals are only rented by the week, arrivals and departures possible on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday depending on the type of rental. Day and hour of arrival free in low season, subject to campsite direction's agreement. The Mobil-homes are fully-equipped; you will only have to provide the household linen, and to clean before your departure.
Rentals are rented to the people listed on the rental agreement (child and baby included), reception reserves the right to refuse access to the rental to any additional person. No surcharge will be allowed.
Guaranty: Two guarantees will be asked the day of your arrival for the Mobil-home rental : One of 260 euros for the furniture and one of 105 euros for the cleaning. The first one will be send back to you within 8 days after your departure, after possible deduction for any damaged or missing objects and furniture. The tenant is held responsible for leaving the accommodation in a clean state after his departure. If the mobile-home is not perfectly clean, the 105 euros deposit will be kept. You can also subscribe for a Cleaning fee for 73€ (93€ for a Taos, or the Little House.)
Any dissatisfaction regarding the cleaning, or the general condition of the rental must be reported on the day of arrival, in order to allow our teams to remedy it. After this period, no complaints will be admissible.
Rental capacity: the rental is provided for a specific number of occupants. It cannot under any circumstances be occupied by a greater number of people (including children and babies). In the latter case, the campsite manager has the right to refuse any additional person.
RATES AND PAYMENT TERMS
Pay upon receipt of your contract and deposit, we will confirm your booking, according to our availability. The deposit (30% of the total price of your stay) will be deducted on your final bill. 10 € administration fees will be billed to you for any reservation. The balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival date. An extension of your stay is possible, only after campsite direction's agreement. The tourist tax is not included in the deposit; you have to pay it at the campsite with your final bill.
Prices may vary depending on the date of booking. To know the exact price, please check our website www.lachapouliere.com or contact directly our campsite. The Camping la Chapoulière may apply promotional offers during the season (periods and products to be determined).
Retroactivity. The price applicable to the stay is the price in effect on the day of the reservation, or the price indicated on the quote whose validity period has not yet expired. The advantages or promotions offered by our establishment after the reservation date cannot be charged to a reservation already confirmed, paid in full or in part. Promotional and early-booking conditions: Our promotional offers and conditions can be viewed on our website. The early-booking offer is valid until 31/12/2024, it cannot be combined with any other offer and is subject to conditions and subject to availability. Discounts are 10% in the off-season and 5% in high season, subject to a minimum length of stay. The promotion only applies to the first 2 weeks of your stay. Payment of the deposit must be made before 31/12/2024.
CANCELLATION – MODIFICATIONS – ANTICIPATED DEPARTURE
The Camping la Chapoulière offers a rental contract cancellation insurance through its partner Neat insurance : 4.5% of the total cost of the stay. (Covid 19 extension included). In case of cancellation, the guest must imperatively inform the campsite of his withdrawal as soon as an event occurs that prevents his departure by mail or email. If the loss is provided for in the general conditions (available on the website www.campez-couvert.com or at the campsite), the customer must notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents. In case of interruption or cancellation of the stay by a client who has not taken out the insurance, the Camping la Chapoulière will not reimburse the sums paid and/or due.
The cancellation will be notified to the campsite by recorded delivery letter enclosed with precise and undeniable justification, and at the latest within 3 days after the event leading to cancellation.
In case of cancellation, you will be indebted to the campsite for:
-30% of the total amount of your stay, if your cancellation has been reported more than 30 days before your arrival date. (i.e. your deposit will be kept by the campsite)
-The total amount of your stay if your cancellation has been reported within 30 days before your arrival date.(i.e. The campsite will send you the invoice of the balance)
If the customer doesn't come forward within 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned on the contract, this contract becomes nullified and the campsite direction will dispose of the accommodation.
In case of anticipated departure the customer is indebted to the campsite for the total amount of the initial stay. The campsite will not proceed to any refund.
In the event of cancellation due to Camping la Chapouliere, the amounts paid will be refunded, except in cases of force majeure. This cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
Any modification of stay is possible in agreement with the campsite subject to availability. Any price difference at the time of the modification between the old and the new stay will be the responsibility of the customer. If the new stay turns out to be cheaper than the old one, no refund of the difference will be made. Tourist taxes : Anyone over 18 years old must pay the tourist tax at the current rate (0.66 € / person over 18 years old / night in 2025).
Eco-participation: Our campsite is subject to taxes for the withdrawal of natural resources (clean water) and the reprocessing of waste (wastewater, household waste, bulky recyclable items). This is a budgetary repercussion to compensate and raise awareness (0.35 € / pers. / Night).
Swimming-pool: The access to the swimming pool is free but strictly forbidden to people from the outside. Swimming trunks and bracelets are compulsory.
Image rights: You authorize the Camping La Chapoulière to use on any advertising medium the pictures taken during your stay (during 5 years) on which you could appear, and this without any financial compensation.
Insurance: It's up to the camper to insure himself. The campsite cannot be held responsible for robberies, fires, bad weather or for any incident coming within the camper's personal liability.
Connecting cars to the electricity network: Charging electric and hybrid cars is prohibited on the campsite.
Animals: Dogs of 1st and 2nd category are strictly forbidden in the campsite, even kept on a lead or muzzle. Pets are strictly forbidden in the Mobil-homes, in the sanitary blocks and in the swimming pool area. The pet owner must present valid up-to-date passport (immunisation record) of the dog or the cat staying with him. Vaccination against rabies is compulsory before arrival. Please keep your pets on their lead and clear up their droppings.
Barbecue : The charcoal barbecue is forbidden.
Dispute: The customer has to follow the clauses indicated in the campsite's “rules and regulations” and to the safety regulations.
Mediation of consumer disputes: In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code L. 612-1 concerning the process of mediating consumer disputes, the customer has the right to use the mediation service offered by Camping La Chapoulière in one year time subject to the article L.152-2 of the consumer code. The mediator law of consumption thus proposed is SAS Médiation Solution. This mediation device can be reached by:
