BOOKING CONDITIONS
• The reservation becomes effective only after receipt of the deposit and booking fees and after receipt of
the booking contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general terms and conditions
of sale when booking online and of course validation of the reservation by our services (confirmation email).
• Reservations are only binding on us if we have accepted them, which we are free to do or refuse,
depending on availability. We offer family-oriented holidays, in the traditional sense, and the
accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. We reserve the right to refuse any booking which is
contrary to this principle, or which seeks to divert it.
This is why the reservation of a camping pitch or a rental is made on a strictly personal basis. Under no
circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation without our prior consent. Only one family (same
name, same address) is allowed per pitch. If there are several families on the same pitch, a reservation must
be made for each family.
• The names and dates of birth of all persons who will occupy the pitch must be specified. Minors must be
accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
• The booking fee for picthes is 19€ per booking and the booking fee for accomodations is 30€ per booking.
• No discount will be given for late arrival or early departure.
• For the choice of the pitch, you can give your preference for a camping area. As far as possible, we will try
to accommodate your wishes. However, we cannot guarantee the pitch you have chosen.
Camping pitch
• The basic package includes a pitch for a tent, the caravan or motorhome for 2 people up to a maximum of
6 + electricity, access to the sanitary facilities and the reception facilities.
Rental
• The rental accommodation is fully equipped. The basic package is from 2 to 10 places depending on the
type of accommodation.
• We reserve the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a number of
participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
• Any booking of more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know
each other and are travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered as a
group.
• For any group reservation request, you must contact us by phone or email in order to study the reservation
request before acceptance or refusal.
RATES AND TOURIST TAX
• The prices indicated are valid for the 2024 season. They correspond to one night and are in euros,
including VAT. The amount of the tourist tax varies from year to year and depends on the commune.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
• For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the
services booked must be paid on booking (within 10 days).
The balance must be paid at the latest 30 days before the start of the stay in the village.
• For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
• In the event of non-payment of the deposit at the time of booking (within 10 days) or of the balance at the latest 30 days before the start of the stay by the client, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and to offer the accommodation for rent again.
DISCOUNT
• Any discount that may apply cannot be combined with other promotional offers. It will only be applicable
for a consecutive stay on the same pitch or in the same accommodation and only for people present during the whole stay.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
• In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, we inform you that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or according to a specific frequency, is not subject to
the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
• Modification of your reservation:
• The client may request a modification of his stay (dates, type of accommodation) by written request (letter
or e-mail) subject to availability and possibilities. No postponement will be accepted for the following
season. In the absence of a modification, the client will have to carry out his stay under the initial conditions
of reservation or cancel it.
• Any request to increase the length of your stay will be carried out according to availability and the current
rates.
• Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to
the cancellation and interruption of stay conditions.
• Cancellation of your stay without a Cancellation Guarantee:
Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (registered letter with acknowledgement of
receipt or by email) to the establishment. You will be asked to provide proof. Cancellation by the client will
result in variable charges, depending on the date of cancellation:
• Cancellation more than 60 days before the beginning of the stay : Refund of the deposit paid, minus
the booking fee (30€ or 19€) and any cancellation insurance (4% of the total amount of the stay, booking fee not
included)
• Cancellation between 60 and 15 days before the beginning of the stay : Invoicing of the totality of the
deposit paid
• Cancellation less than 15 days before the beginning of the stay : The full amount of the stay will be
charged. You will always be offered a postponement of your stay, depending on our availability. In case of
refusal by the client, the above conditions apply.
So-called comfort reasons (e.g. weather conditions) are not acceptable.
An additional guarantee allowing you to obtain a refund of the amount of your stay in the event of
cancellation under certain conditions, may be offered by the establishment.
CANCELLATION GUARANTEE
This guarantee takes effect as soon as the rental contract is signed and expires at midnight on the day
before the first day of the stay. Subject to the respect of the contractual obligations, this guarantee allows
you to obtain the reimbursement of the sums paid (booking fees and subscription to the cancellation
guarantee deducted), if your stay has to be cancelled in the following cases according to the exhaustive list
below:
• A serious illness, a physical accident or the death of :
- You, your legal or de facto spouse, your ascendants or descendants, your guardian
- Your brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, fathers-in-law,
mothers-in-law
Serious illness or serious bodily injury means any temporary or permanent damage to your physical integrity,
established by a doctor and involving the cessation of all professional or other activity.
• Complications of pregnancy.
• Serious injury:
Imperatively requiring your presence on the day of your planned departure and resulting from theft, fire,
water damage or natural elements affecting your main residence or your professional premises destroyed by
more than 50% (certificate from the insurer to be provided).
• Economic redundancy :
Of yourself or your spouse provided that the procedure was not initiated before the booking of the stay.
• Refusal or modification of holidays:
Refusal or modification of leave following a request from your employer.
• Covid-19 :
Free cancellation and refund up to the day of arrival in the following cases:
- The client or a member of the party is positive or at Covid at the time of the start of the holiday.
- Quarantine, as a result of a positive test or declared contact case, with the obligation to isolate
oneself and to do the PCR test Hospitalization of the client or a member of his family (spouse or de facto
spouse, ascendants or descendants, guardian) affected by COVID
- Requisition by the authorities in the context of the fight against COVID
- The so-called mass risk reasons are excluded (general quarantine and confinement, state of health
emergency, closure of borders, administrative closure of the establishment, refusal of access to the country
of destination in case of absence of vaccination and in the case where the country of destination already
imposed a vaccination at the time of booking the stay)
All these reasons for cancellation must be communicated by registered letter accompanied by all the
necessary documents establishing the facts (expert report, police report, summons, medical or death
certificate, employer's letter, etc.) as soon as they occur and at the latest within 3 working days following
the accident or event.
So-called comfort reasons (e.g. meteorological reasons) are not admissible.
YOUR STAY
1. Arrival :
• Rental accommodation: on the day of your arrival, you will be welcomed from 5.00 pm, and when you are
given the keys to your accommodation, a deposit of 200€ will be requested. It is imperative to check the
inventory and report any anomaly within 48 hours. After this time, no complaint will be taken into
consideration.
• Camping pitches: on the day of your arrival, you will be welcomed from 2.00 pm
2. During your stay :
The camper is responsible for the surveillance of his personal objects (bikes, etc.). The campsite declines all
responsibility in case of an incident for which the camper is liable. All guests must comply with the internal
regulations. Each tenant is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying with or
visiting him/her.
3. Departure:
• Rental accommodation: on the day of departure indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation
must be vacated before 10am. The accommodation will be returned in a clean and tidy condition, and the
inventory will be checked. Any broken or damaged objects will be charged to you, as well as the restoration
of the premises if necessary. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, after deduction of
the compensation deducted, on the basis of supporting invoices, for any damage noted in the inventory of
fixtures on departure. The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event
that the costs are higher than the amount of the deposit.
• If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, you will be asked to pay a cleaning
fee of at least €89 to €114 (depending on the accommodation).
• For any delayed departure, you may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.
Smoking: All rentals are strictly non-smoking.
Barbecues: Electric barbecues are not allowed on the campsite.
Visitors - Additional persons for the day (without overnight stay):
They are authorised under the responsibility of their guests after having indicated their identity to the
reception and paid their visiting fee on arrival, whatever the time spent on the campsite.
Parking is allowed ONLY in the reception car park at the entrance to the campsite.
Any person not declared at the reception will be immediately expelled as well as his guest, without notice,
nor refund of the stay.
Visitor's rate: 4€00/day or half day and per person (access to the campsite facilities except the aquatic
area and the lagoon)
Pets :
We accept animals, provided that they respect the basic rules of hygiene.
Animals must be kept on a leash and are not allowed in the swimming pools, sports fields and various
playgrounds. They must be vaccinated (with an up-to-date vaccination booklet) and must under no
circumstances be left alone in the accommodation or on the pitch
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed on the campsite.
Children's play area - multisports :
Children remain under the supervision of their parents at the various play and sports facilities of the
campsite.
Swimming pool rules :
Attention the aquatics areas are NOT SURVEILLANCE (swimming pool and lagoon)
The water area is strictly reserved for campers. Underage children must be accompanied by an adult in the
pool area and may not swim alone under any circumstances. Showering is compulsory. People who do not
respect the instructions will be expelled from the pool and from the campsite if they refuse to comply with
the rules.
Traffic - Noise :
The speed limit is 10 km/h.
Pedestrians and cyclists have priority throughout the campsite.
Parking is forbidden in the alleys and access roads: it must be done on the plot rented by the camper, and
not on the neighbouring plots even if they are free.
The gates are closed from 11pm to 7.30am, during which time all motorised traffic is prohibited.
In case of late arrival, parking must be done on the car park at the campsite entrance.
Any use of sound equipment must not disturb the neighbourhood. Noise must not disturb the peace and
quiet of the campers. It is strictly forbidden to blow the horn.
Termination :
If any of the clauses of this contract are not fulfilled, the contract may be terminated by the manager as of
right.

All campers are required to comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Any person staying at the
campsite must be mentioned at the time of booking. The management reserves the right to expel, without
notice or reimbursement, any person who fails to comply with the rules and regulations, or who does not
declare all the occupants or gives false information concerning the occupants of the pitch or chalet rental.
Right to the image:
You authorise Camping Le Séquoïa, as well as any person we may wish to substitute, to photograph you
to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to use these images, sounds and videos
to use the said images, sounds, videos and recordings on any medium (in particular on the website and
social networks), as well as on all media for the presentation and promotion of the campsite.
This authorisation applies both to you and to the persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is to ensure the
promotion and animation of the establishment and may not in any way damage your reputation. This
authorisation is granted free of charge for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
Mediation of consumer disputes:
In accordance with the provisions of article L 1612-1 of the Consumer Code, any client of the campsite has
the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of a
dispute with the campsite operator.
