Terms and Conditions of Sale
We ask you to read the following general conditions carefully. Booking a stay implies your full acceptance of these conditions.
Reservation Conditions
The rental is personal; subletting or transferring the pitch to a third party is prohibited. The reservation becomes effective only with the campsite's consent, after receipt of the deposit and after receiving either the duly completed and signed reservation contract or the acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale during the online booking. Camping Solaire offers family-oriented stays in the traditional sense; the accommodations are specifically designed for this purpose. Camping Solaire reserves the right to refuse any reservation that contradicts this principle or attempts to circumvent it. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Before returning the contract, please check availability with the campsite's reservation service.
Campsite Pitch
The basic package includes the pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome for 1 or 2 persons, access to sanitary facilities, and reception infrastructure.
Rental
The rental accommodations are fully equipped: furniture, tableware, pillows, and blankets. The basic package accommodates 4 to 6 places depending on the type of rental. As specified in our brochure and on our website, each accommodation or campsite pitch is intended for a predetermined number of persons.
For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of occupants cannot be exceeded. Furthermore, young children are counted as full persons from the age of 2. Camping Solaire reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families presenting a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation. Please remember to bring your sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases. Animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.) are allowed in the rentals as well as outside and in vehicles; however, we reserve the right to refuse access to the rental to families presenting with a dog weighing more than 35 kg.
Group Reservation
Any reservation for more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and travel together for the same reasons on the same dates is considered a group. Our accommodations are intended exclusively for individual customers. For any group reservation request, you must contact us by phone, e-mail, or via our Contact Us section. We reserve the right to review the reservation request before accepting or rejecting it.
RATES AND TOURIST TAX
• The prices indicated on our website are valid for the current season. They correspond to one night and are quoted in euros, with 10% VAT included. Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate occurring between the time the prices were set and the billing of the stay will result in a corresponding adjustment of the gross price, which the customer accepts without reservation.
• The tourist tax amounts to €0.50 per day per person over 18 years.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
For reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 20% (with a minimum of €100) of the price of the reserved services—and, if applicable, the cancellation insurance amount—must be paid upon reservation. The balance must be paid no later than the day before departure from the campsite.
For reservations made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the deposit is to be paid on the day of the reservation. Payment methods include credit card, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, bank checks in euros (compensable in France), traveler's checks, bank transfers, and cash. If the deposit is not paid 30 days before your arrival, Camping Solaire reserves the right to consider the reservation cancelled. Payments made will not be refunded.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L121-19 of the Consumer Code, Camping Solaire informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a fixed date or on a predetermined schedule is not subject to the 14‑day withdrawal period.
STAY
Arrival and departure on the day of your choice, except in July and August. A minimum mandatory stay applies depending on the period and the type of accommodation; details are available in our brochure and on our website.
Arrival
– Campsite Pitch: Arrival from 14:00 to 19:00. Connection to electrical outlets must be made using cables and plugs in accordance with current legislation. Please ensure you have a 50‑meter cable and a European adapter. The campsite is not able to provide the aforementioned equipment. Departure is no later than 12:00. Any pitch not vacated by 12:00 will automatically incur an extra night's charge.
– All Rentals: Arrival from 16:00 to 19:00. Departure before 10:00. Upon key handover, a deposit of €400 will be required.
The “PARKING” pitch of the rental is designed for one vehicle only; any additional vehicle must park outside the campsite.
Any late arrival must be reported before 18:00 so that the campsite can make the necessary arrangements.
If you wish to arrive in the morning, you must book the previous night. Any delay in the arrival time must be communicated to ensure the retention of the rental. The manager reserves the right to allocate the pitch if no communication is received within 24 hours after the expected arrival date. Payments made will not be refunded.
Any modification in the number of persons that may lead to a change in the fee (tourist tax, extra person beyond the capacity of the rental, etc.) must be reported upon arrival. In case of inaccurate declaration by the customer, this contract will be automatically terminated and the amounts paid will remain with the lessor.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to persons presenting a number of participants exceeding the offered package, the capacity of the rented accommodation, or if the names do not match those on arrival.
During Your Stay
It is the camper's responsibility to supervise his/her personal belongings (e.g., bicycles). The campsite assumes no liability for any incidents falling under the camper's civil liability.
All customers must comply with the internal regulations. Each primary tenant is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by the persons staying with him/her or visiting him/her.
Visitors
For safety reasons, visitors must register at the reception upon arrival before visiting a resident. Management reserves the right to deny access to the aquatic area and to the entire campsite to unregistered persons.
Any undeclared extra charges (e.g., extra person, dog) discovered during an inspection during the stay will be billed to the customer from the date of arrival.
Departure
– For Rental Accommodations: On the departure day indicated in your contract, the rental must be vacated by 10:00 AM (by appointment at the reception). The accommodation must be returned in perfect condition and cleanliness, and an inventory check may be carried out; any broken or damaged items will be charged to you, as well as any restoration costs if necessary.
The deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay after deduction of any charges (with supporting invoices) for damages noted during the checkout inspection. Withholding the deposit does not preclude additional compensation if costs exceed the deposit amount.
– If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee of at least €80 will be charged. For departures outside reception opening hours, a cleaning fee of €80 will apply.
– For any delayed departure, an extra day at the current nightly rate may be charged.
DEPOSITS
For rentals, a deposit of €400 is required upon arrival to cover any potential damage to the rental, plus an additional deposit of €80 to cover possible cleaning fees at the end of the rental; these will be refunded on departure after the checkout inspection. Under no circumstances can the mobile home key be handed over without the deposit being provided. For campsite pitches, a deposit may be required if equipment is rented.
ANIMALS
Animals are accepted provided they are quiet, vaccinated, and well-trained, subject to a fee payable at the time of booking, except for dogs in categories 1 and 2. They must be kept on a leash at all times. They must not disturb the peace and safety of the residents and must comply with basic hygiene rules. They are prohibited near pools, in food establishments, and in buildings.
Customers whose dogs do not meet the above criteria risk being expelled from the campsite.
CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS
Modification of Your Reservation
The customer may request a modification of the stay (campsite, date, and/or type of accommodation) in writing to the campsite (by letter or e-mail), subject to availability. No postponement will be accepted for the following season. Please note that if the stay is modified, it will not be possible to benefit from subsequent promotions relative to the initial reservation—the date of the first reservation being decisive. If no modification is made, the customer must either undertake the stay under the initial booking conditions or cancel it in accordance with the cancellation insurance conditions.
• Any request to extend the duration of your stay will be subject to availability and the current rates.
• Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption terms.
If no message is received indicating a postponement of your arrival date, the accommodation may be re-offered for sale 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract, causing you to lose the benefit of your reservation.
Unused Services
Any stay that is interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) by the customer will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of the reason given.
Cancellation by Camping Solaire
In the event of a cancellation by Camping Solaire, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, such a cancellation does not entitle the customer to claim any damages.
Cancellation by the Camper
Cancellation and interruption insurance is offered, which is optional and payable in addition to the rental at the time of the deposit. No refund will be made without subscription to the cancellation insurance.
Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (registered letter) to Camping Solaire.
If cancellation occurs:
• More than 30 days before the start of the stay: the deposit will be retained as compensation.
• Less than 30 days before the start of the stay: 100% of the stay's amount will be required and no refund will be granted.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation insurance can only be subscribed to at the time of the initial booking request. The customer undertakes to review the general conditions of the cancellation insurance offered at the time of the initial reservation. The general conditions of the cancellation insurance are available at any time on our website.
INTERNAL REGULATIONS (excerpt)
The camper must comply with the internal regulations of the campsite and the pool.
The “parking” area of the rental or the campsite pitch is designed for one vehicle only; any other vehicle must park outside the campsite.
Access to the aquatic area is regulated by the wearing of a wristband and is reserved exclusively for campsite customers (SWIM BRIEF OR BOXER REQUIRED). Drinking, eating, and smoking on the beaches are prohibited. Large inflatable floats or animals are forbidden.
Wood-fired barbecues are prohibited on the premises. Gas or electric barbecues are permitted.
WRISTBAND:
Wearing the wristband (provided upon arrival) is MANDATORY at all times until the end of your stay. It grants access to activities, pools, and contributes to enhancing safety within the facility.
VISITORS:
Visitors must register upon arrival and are considered additional to the stay if they spend the night at the campsite. They are admitted between 11:00 and 22:30. They must park their vehicles in the external parking area and present themselves at the reception (or at the bar if it is closed) upon arrival. For safety and insurance reasons, access to the pool is denied to visitors with dogs. Any abuse by visitors or tenants hosting visitors may result in their expulsion.
TRAFFIC:
Speed is limited to 10 km/h. Barriers are closed between 22:30 and 7:00, and any circulation is prohibited during this period.
NOISE:
Nighttime quiet must be respected by all campers between 22:30 and 7:00.
If a customer disturbs the stay of other users, fails to comply with the internal regulations, or provides false information regarding the occupants of the pitch, the manager or his representative may expel the customer. In case of a criminal offense, the manager may call the police.
Contractual Customer Liability
The contractual customer of the accommodation or pitch (name indicated on the reservation form) undertakes to use and ensure that those accompanying him/her use the park's facilities and equipment in accordance with their intended purposes. In particular, he/she agrees to leave the accommodation or pitch in good condition upon departure. Any damage, loss, or destruction of the furnishings in the mobile homes or the public buildings of the park automatically makes the culprit liable. The contractual customer is considered personally responsible for any damages, losses, deterioration, disturbances, or nuisances caused by the persons staying with him/her or visiting him/her. The contractual customer acknowledges having read the internal regulations of the campsite and undertakes to ensure that they are respected by himself/herself and by his/her companions or visitors.
Camping Liability
Under no circumstances shall the campsite be responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings within the park.
Beyond its legal liability, the campsite shall not be held liable for:
• Theft, loss, damage, or deterioration of personal belongings of any kind, during or following a stay.
• Breakdown or decommissioning of technical equipment, or the temporary or permanent closure of certain facilities when these are beyond its control and due to force majeure.
• Occasional measures taken by the campsite management to restrict access to certain facilities, including changing rooms and the pool, when such measures are necessary to comply with safety standards or due to periodic maintenance.
• Damage caused to or sustained by vehicles of customers parked or circulating within the campsite, even if they have been expressly authorized to enter.
• Changes to the entertainment program or the activities offered.
In low season, and for reasons related to occupancy, the campsite reserves the right to modify or cancel certain facilities, amenities, services, or activities. For any reservation in low season, please contact the campsite to confirm these details.
IMAGE RIGHTS
During your stay, you may be photographed and appear in all our publications and on any type of media without time limitation. In case of refusal, you must notify us by registered letter before your arrival.
PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act n°78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is informed that the personal data provided as mandatory in the booking process are necessary for its execution. The customer has the right of access, rectification, and opposition to the transfer of such data to third parties, which may be exercised by writing to CAMPING SOLAIRE – 05400 – VEYNES.

COMPLAINTS
All complaints regarding the conditions of the stay must be made on site to the Management to allow an immediate solution.
