GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(applicable as of 1/1/24)
The purpose of these general conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the parties within the framework of the offer of a stay offered by the renter from the website www.chasteuil-provence.com, by mail or on site. Acceptance of the stay offer entails the customer's full acceptance of these general conditions of sale and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions.
1- DEFINITIONS
“PITCH” means rented pitches, bare or equipped with private sanitary facilities, for the installation of customers' tents, caravans or motorhomes in the campsite.
“ACCOMMODATION” means all furnished accommodation (chalets, eco-lodges, etc.) excluding pitches, offered for rental by the lessor.
“ACCOMMODATION” refers without distinction to pitches and accommodation.
“STAYS” means the offer of a pitch or accommodation accompanied, where applicable, by free or paid additional services.
“RENTER” means Domaine Chasteuil Verdon Provence.
“CUSTOMER” means any person reserving a stay and/or any services offered by the rental company on the website www.chasteuil-provence.com, via the reservation center, by mail or directly on site.
LANGUAGE OF THE CONTRACT: These general conditions of sale are drawn up in French. In the event that they are translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text will be authentic in the event of a dispute.
2 - RATES AND TOURIST TAX
For all accommodation, the rental company offers:
A standard offer: the customer pays a deposit upon booking and the balance 1 month before the start of the stay.
For accommodation only, the rental company also offers:
A No flex offer: the customer benefits from a more advantageous rate if the entire stay is paid at the time of booking.
2.1 General:
The prices indicated are the prices of a basic package. They are in euros, VAT included. They do not include optional services or administrative fees. The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the community as well as the eco-participation, are not included in our prices. Their amounts are determined per person over 18 years old and per day.
Prices may change as the season progresses without the customer having paid the highest price being able under any circumstances to benefit from a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the promotional price.
2.2 Location:
• The price includes the price of the basic package:
- rental of 1 pitch of 100m2 with 10 amp electrical connection for 1 installation (tent or caravan or motorhome), 1 vehicle, up to 2 people
- access to collective toilets, the swimming pool (on opening dates), the playground and other infrastructure and to the activities offered (free or paid).
• Optional, with supplement:
- People or children over 2 included in the package
- Vehicle beyond 1 included in the package
- small tent, dog, XXL place (30m2 more)
- cancellation and interruption of stay insurance.
The pitch can accommodate a maximum of: 6 people, 2 cars, 1 installation and 1 small tent
2.3 Accommodation:
Each accommodation is rented equipped according to the inventory provided. The accommodations are non-smoking.

- early arrival or late departure on weekends (off season)
- cancellation and interruption of stay insurance.
3 - CAPACITY AND CHARACTERISTICS OF ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is provided for a specific number of occupants. It cannot be occupied by a greater number of people (including children and babies): the campsite manager has the right to refuse any additional person.
You should refer to the written description of the layout available on the “rentals” and “locations” sections of the website www.chasteuil-provence.com in order to know the exact composition of each accommodation. The plans and photos of the accommodation are given for illustrative purposes only. Layout and features may vary from model to model.
4 - RESERVATION CONDITIONS
Reservations only bind the lessor if he has accepted them, which the lessor is free to do or refuse, depending on availability, and in general, any circumstances likely to harm the execution of the reservation made. Domaine Chasteuil Verdon Provence offers family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. The lessor reserves the right to refuse any reservation which would be contrary to this principle, or which would seek to divert it.
Reservations for accommodation are made on a strictly personal basis. The customer cannot under any circumstances sublet or transfer his reservation without the prior consent of the lessor.
The rental company reserves the right to refuse access to customers arriving with people not mentioned during the reservation.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians
The customer has the option of making their reservation online, by mail or on site. Concerning reservations on the website, for the order to be validated, the customer must, after having previously read them, accept the general conditions of sale.
ABSENCE OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the customer is informed that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or according to a specific frequency, does not is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period
Upon receipt of the reservation request (reservation contract duly completed and signed or acceptance of the general conditions of sale when booking online) and the deposit, the rental company remains free to accept the reservation. Once accepted, the rental company sends the customer a confirmation by email containing the details of their stay (content of services, dates and duration, price and payment terms).
In the event of a request for a specific location or rental, the rental company will endeavor to satisfy the customer. However, the allocation of this location or accommodation may be modified, without any refund being requested.
5 - PAYMENT CONDITIONS

For reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit (€90 for pitches or 30% of the price of the amount of services reserved for accommodation and pitches with private bathrooms) as well as any administrative fees must be paid upon reservation. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay. The tourist tax and the eco-participation will remain to be paid on arrival.).
For reservations made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay and for No Flex offers, full payment (deposit, possible administration fees and balance of the stay) must be made at the time of reservation. The tourist tax and the eco-participation will remain to be paid on arrival.).
In the event of non-payment of the deposit upon reservation or the balance no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay by the customer, the lessor reserves the right to cancel the reservation and re-offer the accommodation to location.

6 - STAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation and interruption of stay insurance is optional but the customer is invited to take out it when booking. NEAT camping Flex insurance, offered by the rental company, is billed at 6.5% of the total amount of the stay including tax, and is added to the deposit. It must be taken out when booking and covers accompanying persons declared on the reservation contract.

In the event of cancellation or interruption of stay, for a cause falling within the scope of the contract signed, as soon as the loss occurs, the customer must immediately notify the rental company and report the loss to NEAT by telephone on 05 54 54 25 22, by mail to 117 Quai de Bacalan, 33300 BORDEAUX, electronically to the address sinister@neat.eu or via the form at the following address: https://declare.neat.eu/campings-independants,

Without this insurance, the customer will under no circumstances be reimbursed for the sums paid if he is forced to cancel.
7 - MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY BY THE CUSTOMER
7.1 Modification of reservation by the customer
The customer can request a modification of their stay (dates, type of accommodation, options) upon written request to the rental company (mail or e-mail) subject to availability and possibilities. In the absence of modification, the customer must carry out their stay under the initial reservation conditions or cancel it according to the conditions of the cancellation insurance.
- Any request to increase the length of stay will be made according to availability and the rates in force.
- Any request to reduce the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation and interruption of stay.
A modification fee of €50 may be applied.
7.2 Services not used due to the customer
In the event of a shortened or canceled stay for one of the following reasons:
- Closure of borders by administrative decision
- Administrative closure of the campsite
- Limitation of travel to a number of km by administrative decision not allowing you to come to the campsite
A voucher for an amount corresponding to unused nights, valid for two years, will be issued by the rental company. If the customer refuses this voucher, it will be refunded, on request, the corresponding amount less the cost of cancellation insurance if it has been taken out.
Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) caused by the customer will not give rise to a refund or a voucher.
7.3 Cancellation of stay by the customer
Any cancellation request must be communicated by post to the postal address of the campsite or by e-mail. Cancellations sent by telephone cannot be taken into account. Any cancellation results in the termination of the reservation. Likewise, if the customer does not show up within 24 hours following the start of the date of their stay and without having informed the rental company by mail or e-mail in advance, the reservation will be considered canceled by the customer. The lessor therefore reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rental again.
Deadlines are calculated on the date the request is received.
• Cancellation up to 30 days before the start of your stay
The deposit will be kept by the rental company for cancellation costs.
• Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of your stay
The entire stay is due.
7.4 Modification/cancellation/interruption of stay for the customer who has subscribed to stay cancellation insurance
The amounts paid may be covered by the guarantee according to the general cancellation conditions.

In the event of cancellation of the stay, the amount paid in holiday vouchers cannot be reimbursed in accordance with article L.112-14 I. of the Monetary and Financial Code. In this case, a non-refundable voucher with a validity period of 2 years will be established for the amount of the sums paid in Holiday vouchers, possibly deducting the deposit, according to the conditions indicated above.
8 - MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY BY THE RENTER
8.1 Modification of reservation by the rental company
In the event that the lessor is obliged to modify the services initially planned for the stay, it will make every effort to provide similar services. The customer may either accept the modification or terminate the Contract and obtain reimbursement of the sums paid, under the conditions referred to in article R.211-9 of the Tourism Code.
8.2 Cancellation by the lessor:
In the event of cancellation by the rental company, except in cases of force majeure, the customer will be fully reimbursed for the sums paid in accordance with article R132-2 of the Consumer Code. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
9 - UPON ARRIVAL OF THE CUSTOMER
9.1 General:
If the client does not show up on the scheduled day of arrival (no show) and in the absence of a message from them indicating the postponement of their arrival date, accommodation will be held until 12 p.m. the following day. After this period, the accommodation will be offered for sale again, no refund will be made: the entire stay is due.
In the event of delayed arrival, the customer pays from the initially scheduled arrival day. No discount will be made for “late arrival”.
For any arrival that does not correspond to the indications on the reservation form, access to the establishment may be refused and the stay canceled: the payment for the stay will be kept by the rental company as well as any cancellation and interruption of stay insurance contribution.
9.2 Location:
The location will be available to the customer from 2 p.m.
For pitches with private toilets, upon handing over the keys, a deposit of €100 will be requested from the customer for any damage caused to the rental and cleaning costs if it has not been carried out properly.
9.3 Accommodation:
The accommodation will be available to the client from 4 p.m.
When the keys are handed over, a deposit of €200 will be requested from the customer for any damage caused to the rental and cleaning costs if it has not been carried out properly.
The equipment of the rented chalet is inventoried before the client's arrival. The customer must check and notify the rental company of any anomaly no later than the day after arrival. No comments will be taken into account beyond this deadline.
10 - DURING THE CUSTOMER'S STAY:
The customer is responsible for monitoring their personal items. He is also responsible for all damages arising from his cause and must, therefore, be insured under his civil liability.
The customer must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations, displayed at reception.
Each tenant in title is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by people who stay with him or visit him. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in the customer being expelled without giving rise to any refund.
For safety reasons, the customer cannot under any circumstances use the electrical outlets in their accommodation to recharge their vehicle. Charging stations are installed near reception and can be used for a fee.
11 - AT THE CUSTOMER'S DEPARTURE:
11.1 General:
Any early departure by the customer will not give rise to any discount or refund. If the customer wishes to extend their stay, this will only be possible subject to availability and with the prior agreement of the rental company.
11.2 Location:
On the day of scheduled departure, the pitch must be vacated before midday. For any delayed departure, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate.
The location must be cleared of any bulky objects (branches, stones, etc.) and any trenches must be filled in.
11.3 Accommodation:
The day before the departure day indicated on the contract, the customer must inform reception of the scheduled time of departure. If the customer does not wish to carry out the final cleaning, he can subscribe to the “cleaning package” according to the rates in force.
On the day of departure, accommodation must be vacated no later than 10 a.m. For any delayed departure, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate.
The exit inventory is carried out the day following the customer's departure.
The deposits will be returned no later than 48 hours after the client's departure, after checking the inventory and cleanliness of the accommodation, deducting, possibly, the cost of missing or damaged equipment, repair costs in the event that it is noted that the cleaning was not carried out in accordance with the instructions given and that the “cleaning package” was not taken out, unpaid services. The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount thereof.
12 – ANIMALS
12.1 General
Pets are accepted at Domaine Chasteuil Verdon Provence, except for 1st and 2nd category dogs, subject to presentation of vaccination certificates and compliance with the internal regulations and in particular:
- they must be kept on a leash at all times
- they are prohibited around swimming pools, in food stores and in buildings.
- They cannot be left alone, tied up or locked in a car, on the pitch or in accommodation.
- The customer must take their animal to do its business outside the campsite and collect its droppings.
12.2 Location:
Dogs, regardless of size or weight, are accepted for a daily fee.
12.3 Accommodation:
Animals, regardless of their size or weight, are accepted for a fee calculated per stay
13 - DISPUTE – MEDIATION
If, despite the rental company's desire to fully satisfy them, the customer has complaints, they are requested to immediately inform the person responsible for reception on site who will endeavor to provide them with a response.
If the dispute persists:
- initially, the customer can send by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, a written complaint to the rental company's customer service:

14 – PICTURE
By accepting these General Conditions of Sale, the customer expressly authorizes, free of charge, the rental company or any person designated by him, to photograph, film or record him during his stay and to use said images, videos and recording and this for a period of 5 years. This authorization also applies to all people staying with the client.
The content is intended to ensure the promotion and animation of the rental company on its website, its brochures, its social networks or with its partners.
If the customer does not wish to be photographed or filmed, simply notify reception in writing upon arrival.
15 - COMPUTING AND FREEDOM
The information communicated by the customer during his order is collected and stored by the rental company in accordance with the GDPR. This information will be used to process the order and to strengthen and personalize communication and the offer of services reserved for customers.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the customer has a right of access, rectification, and opposition to personal data concerning him. All that is required is for the customer, indicating his/her name, first name and address, to make the request by post to the following address:
