Camping stays conditions of sale
Article C.1:
The current contract has been proposed by Camping du lac, based at F 01290 Cormoranche Sur Saône, managed and administrated by the la Veyle Community of Communes acting as a territorial collectivity. Prefectoral rating: 4 stars.

Article C.2: Length of the stay
The length of the stay is agreed for the dates specified in the current contract. Any extension must be made the subject of an additional agreement.
Article C.3: Responsibility
The Camp Site offering the use of the services agreed upon in the current contract is the sole interlocutor for this user and shall be accountable for the execution of the obligations arising from the conditions of sale herein. The Camp Site and the territorial collectivity on which it depends can not be held responsible in the case of unforeseeable circumstances or of force majeure or on the part of any external person during the stay.
Article C.4: Confirmation of stay
You have a period of 10 days to confirm your stay with us by returning this contract to us signed and accompanied by the sum of the deposit indicated, which corresponds at most to 25% of the total cost of the stay. Your reservation will be definitive upon the reception of your contract and deposit by our offices. Confirmation of receipt will be sent to you.
Article C.5: Services and prices
The stay contract specifies the dates of the stay, the services provided, and their respective prices as indicated in our conditions of sale.
Supplementary services will be subject to on-site payment during or at the end of the stay.
The “comfort” plot bundle includes:
The setup of a tent, caravan, or camper van within the bounds of 1/3 of the surface of the plot. Your vehicle on the plot.
The provision of electricity to 10 amperes. Water and wastewater connections. Access to the supervised beach. Entertainment for adults and children provided in the camping site programme during peak season.
The “simple” plot bundle includes:
The same services as above without electricity, and without either the provision or removal of water.
The plot bundle does not include:
Day visitors who must pay per activity.
Night visitors who must pay the camping fee.
Access to different activities or specific entertainment.
Article C.6: Paying for the stay and means of payment
You can pay for your stay as follows:
1 payment of a deposit upon signing the current contract.
The balance for the stay must be paid, at the latest, on the day before departure.
Non-payment of the deposit before the date agreed will lead to the stay being cancelled, entailing the application of Article C.4 of the current contract.
Article C.7: Payment methods
The various payments can be made by cheque, postal cheque, bank card, holiday cheques, money order, or in cash.
Payments from abroad can be carried out by bank transfer or international money order.
Article C.8: Changing the dates of your stay
A delayed arrival or interruption of the stay does not provide reason for any reduction or reimbursement.
Any non-indicated within a period fo 24 hours after the arrival date can lead to an assumed cancellation of the stay on your part.
Article C. 9: Withdrawal period
In conformance with Article L. 121-22-8 of the French Consumer's Code, you do not have the right to withdraw.
In fact, the right to withdraw cannot be exercised for contracts with the (particular) object of providing accommodation services.
Article C.10: Cancellation by the customer
You must provide notification by registered letter with confirmation of receipt of any cancellation on your part.
Any non-indicated within a period fo 24 hours after the arrival date will lead to a cancellation on your part.
Non-conformance with the balance payment deadlines will lead to a cancellation on your part.
In the case of a cancellation on your part, as a severance payment we will retain or oblige you to pay:
A sum corresponding to 5% of the complete cost of the stay + reservation fees, if you cancel more than 30 days before the date of the start of the stay.
A sum corresponding to the complete cost of the stay if you cancel less than 30 days before the date of the start of the stay, during the stay, or if you do not present yourself within 24 hours following the intended date of your arrival.
Article C.11: Cancellation insurance
It is recommended that you take our cancellation and interruption insurance from: CAMPEZ COUVERT.
You can take this out when you make your reservation on the Camping Site's internet site.
The insurance premium must be paid in full upon reserving the stay and is non-refundable.
In the event of a disaster you must: Follow the procedure of the complete general insurance conditions.
The complete general insurance conditions are available upon request or can be consulted online on the Camping Site's website at the bottom of the “prices” page.
The cancellation and interruption insurance for your stay will reimburse all of the sums paid before arriving for your stay. In the case of an interruption to the stay, the sum for the part not completed will be calculated pro rata from the reserved stay.
Article C.12: Cancellation by us
Reasons outside of our control (generally unforeseeable events, security reasons) may lead us to cancelling your stay. We will provide you with another offer as far as we are able. You have the option to refuse this and in this case we will reimburse you for the sums paid in their entirety.
Article C.13: Inability of the Camping Site to provide the intended services
If before the intended date of your stay or during your stay the Camping Site finds itself forced to modify the services indicated in your contract, you may, subject to mutual agreement, accept these changes. Should you refuse, you have the option of terminating your contract and in this case we will reimburse you for the sums paid in their entirety, excluding such services as have already been provided.
Article C.14: Plot allocation
The allocation of a plot is carried out, in so far as possible, based on your preferences (specific number, shade, etc.) However, for service or security reasons, we may be obligated to change your allocation either before your arrival or to ask you to change your plot during your stay. You will be provided with prior warning about these changes. These changes do not entitle you to any reimbursement nor to compensation of any kind.
Article C.15: Plot occupation and maintenance
The users undertake to respect the area of the setup as well as the cleanliness and general maintenance of the plot. No setup, plantation or specific demarcation will be accepted other than those already in existence. Camping equipment (tent, windbreaker, caravans, mobile or vehicle) must be in a perfect state. Equipment or vehicles in a state of disrepair will not be admitted.
The Camping Site Management reserves the right to cancel the stay should these rules not be respected.
Article C.16: Vehicle circulation and parking
Vehicles and motorbikes of persons staying or of visitors are permitted to access the Camping Site under the conditions of the price in force.
All circulation is prohibited within the Camping Site before 06:00 and after 22:00. To respect these times, users must take the actions necessary by planning to park their vehicle at the entrance to the site.
Article C.17: Admission of minors
Minors are permitted as part of a family, under the care of a guardian, or as part of a stay organised by a holiday centre and accompanied by one or several adults. Should these conditions not be respected the customer is liable to have his/her stay cancelled.
Article C.18: Animals
Only domestic animals are permitted on the Camping Site, as per the legislation currently in force. They must be kept on a lead by an adult, marked, and vaccinated against rabies. A current health record, vaccination certificates, and certificates of registration will be requested upon your arrival. Dogs from Category 1 are completely prohibited.
Article C.19: Holiday cheques
Our Camping Site is authorised by the ANCV. Holiday cheques are directly deductible from the sum for your stay. Should your stay be cancelled, holiday cheques cannot be refunded nor reimbursed.
Article C.20: Insurance
The customer is responsible for any damage he/she causes. He/she is obliged to be insured by a holiday destination insurance contract for these different risks.
Article C.21: Situational analysis
When you arrive, a situational analysis and inventory of the assets put at your disposal will be established between you and the Camping Site. The state of cleanliness will also be confirmed. The cleaning of the plot during the stay and before departure is the task of the user. Should this obligation not be respected, the sum of the costs for returning the plot to its original state will be billed to the user.
Article C.22: Internal regulation of the Camping Site
All those staying on our Camping Site are obliged to conform with the conditions of our internal regulations. Non-conformance with the regulations may lead to the cancellation of the stay and exclusion from the Camping Site. The signing of a stay contract acts as the acceptance of the internal regulations. Article C.23: Settlement of disputes and mediations
Any potential claim concerning the non-conformance of the services in relation to the contractual obligations can be indicated by mail or email to the Camping Site Manager.
In the case of a dispute, you have the option of contacting us in the following way:
The sending of a message by registered letter with confirmation of receipt at the Camping Site.
If you are not satisfied by the response, you have the option of using the Medicys Mediation Centre after a period of one month following the sending of these messages/emails. Article 2: Length of the stay
The signatory customer of the current contract concluded for a specific period cannot, in any circumstance, exercise any right to tenure at the end of his/her stay.
Article 3: Responsibility
The Camp Site offering the use of the services agreed upon in the current contract is the sole interlocutor for this user and shall be accountable for the execution of the obligations arising from the conditions of sale herein. The Camp Site and the EPCI on which it depends can not be held responsible in the case of unforeseeable circumstances or of force majeure or on the part of any external person during the stay.

Your rental will be definitive upon the reception of your contract and deposit by our offices.

The stay contract specifies the dates of the stay, the services provided, and their respective prices as indicated in our general conditions of sale.
The fees established by the contract and supplementary services will be subject to on-site payment during or at the end of the stay.
Appended to the current contract is a descriptive statement regarding the asset hired and its equipment.
Article 6: Paying for the stay and means of payment
Your stay is confirmed upon the receipt of the payment of the deposit, the sum of which is specified in the current contract. The payment of the balance for the stay must be made, at the latest, 30 days before the date of the reserved stay.
If the request to stay is made less than 30 days before your arrival date, you must pay for the entire stay when confirming your request or before the date indicated in the current contract.
Non-payment of the deposit before the date agreed will lead to the stay being cancelled, entailing the application of Article 10 of the current contract.

The cancellation and interruption insurance for your stay will reimburse all of the sums paid before arriving for your stay. Should your stay be interrupted, the compensation sum paid by the insurer will be calculated based on the number of days remaining.
Article 12: Cancellation by us

You have the option to refuse this and in this case we will reimburse you for the sums paid in their entirety.

The allocation of a chalet is carried out, in so far as possible, based on your preferences (specific number, shade, etc.) However, for service or security reasons, we may be obligated to change your allocation either before your arrival or during your stay. Where possible, you will be provided with prior warning about these changes. These changes do not entitle you to any reimbursement nor to compensation of any kind.
Article 15: Plot occupation and reception capacity
The customer undertakes to respect the occupied surfaces of a plot as well as the reception capacity for the means of the accommodation selected. The rental of accommodation will be accepted for the number of persons registered in the contract and within the limit of the reception capacity. Additional persons will be received under the conditions of a prior agreement and without exceeding the reception capacity.
Article 16: Admission of minors
Minors are permitted as part of a family, under the care of a guardian, or as part of a stay organised by a holiday centre and accompanied by one or several adults. Should these conditions not be respected the customer is liable to have his/her stay cancelled.
Article 17: Animals
Animals are not accepted in the mobile homes or chalets. They are permitted in tipis and other tents, but must be kept on a lead and be up to date with their vaccinations.
Article 18: Holiday cheques

The customer is responsible for any damage he/she may cause. He/she is obliged to be insured by a holiday destination insurance contract for these different risks.
Article 19: Situational analysis
When you arrive, a situational analysis and inventory of the assets put at your disposal will be established between you and the Camping Site. The state of cleanliness will also be confirmed. The cleaning of the rental during your stay and before departure is, in the absence of specific contractual provisions, the task of the user. Should this not be respected, the lump sum for the potential cleaning fees will be retained.
Article 20: Security deposit
For the accommodation rentals you will be required to pay a security deposit, the sum of which is indicated in the current contract. Upon departure, following a contradictory inventory, this deposit shall be refunded, with any potential cleaning costs or costs for returning the assets hired to their original state deducted from this deposit. In the case of an early departure which does not allow for a situational analysis during the usual hours, the sum of the security deposit will be returned by mail, with any potential costs for returning the accommodation to peak condition deducted.
