2024 GENERAL RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CASTEL LES BOIS DU BARDELET
CAMPING PITCHES
The reservation includes the location, vehicle, tent, caravan or motorhome/camper and access to the welcoming area and sanitaries. The tenant agrees to the location in the state (trees, plantings, vegetation ...). The tenant disengages the responsibility of the site in case of damage from falling branches, bad weather, natural disasters, burglary, glass breakage, …
The location must be released and returned to its initial state at the end of the stay. We will consider special requests to the extent of availability.
PRICES
Prices do not include the Multisport pack (except for housing rental on certain dates). As the Multisport pack is not mandatory, it is to be paid extra.
For every payment, you will be given an invoice. Any claims regarding the invoice must be made at that time, no further claims will be accepted.
TOURIST TAX
Tourist tax 0.35 € / person above 18 years / night. (according to the deliberation of the Community of Communes of Gien of 21/09/18 ). Eco participation 0.05 € / person above 18 years / night.
RENTAL
The site can provide all hotel services.
OPTIONS
The options have no contractual value and can be cancelled by both side without penalty, after a period of three days without confirmation of booking by payment of foreseen advance.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations, all combined stay categories, are only confirmed upon receipt of the voucher and corresponding advance. Preferences made during booking will be taken in consideration to the extent of availability, without liability to the domain.
PAYMENT
Accommodation rentals must be fully paid at least 15 days prior to arrival. Full payment of the rent of accommodation is due for bookings made less than 15 days prior to arrival. As for reservations for camping and caravanning, the balance is required upon arrival according to the date indicated on the contract at the time of booking. No exception may be applied.
Payment methods accepted on site: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard. Maestro: 100€ max.), cash.
DURATION OF STAY
Free day of arrival between 08.05.24 and 31.08.24. Except Infinité: Sunday to Sunday from 07.07.24 until 25.08.24
Rental accommodation: 2 nights minimum before 08.07.24 except 3 nights minimum: pentecote / from 17 to 20 may, from 14 to 16 june & from 20.08.2024 and 4 nights minimum : Ascension / from 8 au 12 may
TIME OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Until 30.06.24 the accommodations are available from 3pm on arrival until 11am on your departure day. Between the 01.07.24 and the 01.09.24 the accommodations are available from 4pm on arrival until 10am on your departure day.
An extra night will be charged if you do not return your key before 10am/11am or leave the camping pitch after 12 AM (noon).
Pitches can be occupied from 12 am. Any extension of stay must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date. In case of early departure, no refund will be made on any stay which was subject to a reservation.
The site reserves the right to rent to the next request.
• In case of a delayed arrival or early departure, the invoice shall be prepared based on the dates of arrival and departure defined in your booking contract.
• If you do not arrive within 48 hours from the arrival time without informing in writing of such a delay, your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be made.
DEPOSIT
For rental accommodation, a deposit of €300 will be requested on your arrival ; a deposit of €70 will be requested for the rental of a private bathroom and Castel Premium pitches.. This deposit includes breakage of equipment and cleanliness of the accommodation on departure. It will be returned at the end of your stay, less any cost of missing or damaged equipment.
In the case of an accommodation left uncleaned, the amount of the standard cleaning package will be kept.
CHARGING AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE:
this is not possible at your vacation spot, the electrical installation of this accommodation does not allow it.
MODIFICATIONS
No changes are possible in principle during the month preceding the date of arrival of the stay. Outside this period, the requested changes will be accepted based on availability and will result for each operation to the application of an administration fee (20€).
CANCELLATION
If the case of a cancellation, the customer must immediately inform the reservations department of Castel Les Bois du Bardelet by writing (registered letter recommended). Any cancellation made by the customer will cause the following charges: More than 42 days before the scheduled day of arrival 20% / 42 days (inclusive) to 15 days (inclusive) 50% / Less than 15 days (inclusive) 100% Whatever the reason for your cancellation, administration fees (20 €) will be applied. Castel Les Bois du Bardelet cannot suffer the consequences of customer-specific situations. Any interrupted or shortened stay or any service not used by the client will not be refunded. In case of cancellation by the management of Castel Les Bois du Bardelet, the customer will completely be refunded. In case of late arrival, the rental is cancelled after 48 hours unless the customer gave us indications within this period.
Cancellation insurance:
The company «SAS Carving» has taken out an insurance contract: «12 /20-CPC covid-6184», «Campez Couvert - COVID Extension», which covers you should you be rquired to cancel or curtall your stay: Gritchen Infinity – Campez Couvert 27 Rue Charles Durand – CS70139 18021 Bourges Cedex Tél. +33 (0)1 45 16 85 42. Option to subscribe at the time of booking. This document is provided for information purposes only. Prices of the cancellation insurance: 2.7% including tax of the insuered value.
PETS
One pet is accepted per location/ standard pitch (in the chalets Détente 4p, Cottage 2/4p, Grand Charme 6p and Infinité 8/10p only). 2 Pets are allowed on the XL pitches. It is allowed at an extra charge, provided you have declared it on the reservation. The pet must be leashed. Its updated vaccination must be presented. Pets are not allowed near the pool area.
INTERNAL RULES
Campers, caravanners are required to comply with the rules available at the campsite reception especially in regard to the quiet night and strictly forbidden access to unaccompanied minors.
CLAIMS
Any claim relating to conditions of the stay must be made on site to the Management in order to allow them to find an immediate solution. Otherwise, the stay will be deemed to have taken place in satisfactory conditions. All requests, judicial or extra judicial, arising from contracts for the sale of holidays will be extinguished upon the expiry of a period of six months from the end date of stay. When the trip hasn't taken place, the period of 6 months starts from the agreed departure date of the stay. Upon termination, the limitation period of six months runs from the date or at the latest, the start date of the foreseen stay. The competent court will be the one of Orleans.
