GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND CANCELLATION
CAMPING CARAVANEIGE CHAMP DU MOULIN
Booking a holiday implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale and cancellation.
1 - HOW TO BOOK
By post: send the booking contract together with the deposit: 30% of the total cost of the holiday.
On the website: follow the procedure indicated.
The booking will only become effective on receipt of payment of the deposit, which you can pay online via our secure website, by cheque, by credit card or by bank transfer. A booking confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail or post. This confirmation letter must be presented on the day of your arrival.
If the deposit is not received within the period indicated in the letter, Camping Caravaneige Champ du Moulin may consider that the booking request has not been confirmed and may allocate the pitch or rental to another customer.
For safety reasons, Camping Caravaneige Champ du Moulin will refuse access to persons arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation (including children).
2 - PAYMENT FOR THE STAY
The following methods of payment are accepted: cheques, cash, holiday vouchers, credit card, bank transfer.
For rentals: the balance will be requested 30 days before arrival.
For camping pitches: the balance of the stay must be paid on arrival.
3 - ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
Rental: arrival between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm, departure before 10.00 am (imperative).
Pitches: arrival from 12.00 noon, departure before 12.00 noon.
If you are due to arrive after 7 p.m., please inform reception.
In the event of late arrival or early departure, no refund will be made, and the full amount of your stay will be due unless you took out cancellation insurance at the time of booking.
4 - NO-SHOW ON DAY OF ARRIVAL
The reservation will be held until 3 p.m. on the following day. After this time and without any news from you, the reservation will be cancelled in accordance with the provisions of article 5.
5 - CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by registered post.
1st case : Without cancellation insurance
- 30 days before the arrival date 30% of the contract is due (i.e. the amount of the deposit).
- Between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date, 50% of the contract is due.
- Between 15 and 8 days before the date of arrival, 80% of the contract is due.
- Less than 8 days before the date of arrival, 100% of the contract is due.
2nd case : With cancellation insurance (taken out at the time of booking, non-refundable)

6 - CANCELLATION BY CAMPING CHAMP DU MOULIN
In the event that we have to cancel a stay, the sums paid will be reimbursed.
All customers of the campsite must comply with the campsite rules. Any breach of these rules may result in the immediate cancellation of the rental contract to the detriment of the tenant, with the proceeds of the rental remaining the property of the Champ du Moulin campsite.
7 - DEPOSITS AND CHARGES
Rental accommodation: On arrival, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 300 euros for the rental and 75 euros for the final cleaning if you have not done it yourself. The tenant must check the accuracy of the inventory and report any errors by the following morning at the latest.
The deposit will be refunded on departure (or returned within 8 days of your departure) after an inventory has been taken and checked for cleanliness, subject to deduction of any costs incurred as a result of damage and/or failure to complete the inventory.
When the keys are returned, the accommodation must be in a perfectly clean condition. If it is not, cleaning costs of 75 euros will be deducted from the deposit, with a supplement of 18 euros for crockery (if necessary). The inventory of fixtures is carried out between 8.00 am and 10.00 am on the day of departure.
8 - INSURANCE
All clients of the campsite are responsible for any damage they or their accompanying persons may cause and must be insured for Civil Liability.
9 - PETS
Compulsory health documents for your pets must be presented on arrival. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the campsite.
1st and 2nd category dogs (Pitbulls, Rottweilers, etc.) are accepted on the campsite provided that they are in order administratively and that all documents are presented to us on arrival.
