GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FAMILY'S CAMPING LE SAVOY

Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all services offered on the Family's Camping Le Savoy website or any other communication medium. The content of the website is intended to inform customers. Some of the services offered may be subject to change depending on the occupancy rate and/or may only be available on certain dates during the season. The rates indicated are provided for information only and are subject to change and are valid only for the current season. The service will take place at the rate in effect on the date of the order. All rates are quoted including VAT. Any change in the VAT rate will result in a change in the rate. In accordance with the Tourism Code, Family's Camping Le Savoy reserves the right to make changes to the information presented on the website or any other communication medium. In the event of significant changes, these will be communicated on the camping website via an Erratum.

1. BOOKING CONDITIONS

Any contracting party must be at least 18 years old, be legally capable of entering into contracts, and not be under guardianship or curatorship. The contracting party must be present throughout the stay. The reservation is only confirmed with the camping's approval, upon receipt of the deposit and either the duly completed and signed reservation contract or upon acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale during online booking.
The reservation for a camping pitch or rental is strictly personal. You may not sublet or transfer your reservation without the camping's prior consent.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Camping Pitch

The basic package includes the pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome for 1 or 2 persons, access to sanitary facilities and reception infrastructures. Additional charges (electricity, extra person, pets, additional vehicle, etc.) are not included in the basic package and will be added to it. Camping pitches can accommodate a maximum of 6 people (including babies).
Rental

The rental accommodations are fully equipped. The basic package is for 2 to 8 persons (including babies) depending on the type of rental.
Family's Camping Le Savoy reserves the right to refuse access to the camping for groups or families presenting a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.
Booking Fees

The administrative fee amounts to 20 euros for a rental and 10 euros for a camping pitch.
2. RATES, TOURIST TAX & ECO-PARTICIPATION

Rates

The applicable price will be set according to the rate in effect at the time of booking. The prices indicated are expressed in euros [€] and include all taxes (TTC) and do not include the tourist tax, local taxes, and any applicable surcharges. Any change or modification of the rate, as well as any evolution of the taxes applicable to the stay, on the billing date may be passed on to the price of the stay. The Camping reserves the right to adjust its rates in the event of a change in the tax rate or in the VAT rate (10%). Regardless of the chosen option (Pitch or Rental), additional fees may be charged for extra persons, extra vehicles, extra tents, pets, and visitors.

Application of Dynamic Pricing

Family's Camping Le Savoy applies dynamic pricing [price adjustments based on demand fluctuations]. As a result, rates may increase or decrease. Thus, it is possible that for the same stay, customers have paid different prices. Customers who have paid the highest price cannot in any case receive a refund of the difference between the price applicable to them and the promotional or lower price that another customer may have benefited from under dynamic pricing.

A tourist tax collected for the Municipality of Challes les Eaux is payable upon arrival, per night, for each person over 18 years old (0.65€/person/night).
An eco-participation fee is payable upon arrival, per night, for each person over 18 years old. Our operation is subject to natural resource extraction taxes (clean water) and waste treatment fees (wastewater, household garbage, etc.). This is a budgetary reallocation intended as a compensation and awareness measure (0.30€/person/night).
3. PAYMENT CONDITIONS

For rentals booked more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total price of the reserved services must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the camping stay.
For camping pitches booked more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total price of the reserved services must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the camping stay.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Any reservation made directly upon arrival must be paid in full directly at the camping reception.
Non-compliance with Payment Conditions

Furthermore, Family's Camping Le Savoy reserves the right, in case of non-compliance with the payment conditions stated above, to suspend or cancel the provision of services ordered by the Customer and/or to suspend the execution of its obligations.

4. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, Family's Camping Le Savoy informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided for a fixed date or on a regular basis is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period provisions.

5. SETTLEMENT OF THE STAY

Accepted Payment Methods

For both the deposit and the balance, you can pay for your reservation or stay using the following payment methods: bank check, French postal check, holiday check, postal order or cash, credit card, national or international bank transfer.

Payment Procedures

On the camping website

Any firm booking request from the buyer is structured as follows:

30% deposit of the total stay amount + administrative fees + cancellation insurance (optional)
Balance of the stay no later than 30 days before your arrival for both rental and camping pitch stays. If the balance is not paid within the specified timeframe, the booking is considered cancelled and our cancellation conditions, as described below, will apply.
By mail

This reservation only becomes contractually valid upon receipt by the buyer of a confirmation of registration issued by the camping. The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay. If the balance is not paid within the specified timeframe, the booking is considered cancelled and our cancellation conditions, as described below, will apply.

6. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS

Modification of Your Reservation

The Customer may request a modification of their stay at the same camping (dates, type of accommodation). Without prejudice to the fact that full payment of the balance is due before departure, any modification requested by the customer is possible and may incur modification fees. Any request for changes must be confirmed in writing by the customer and is subject to availability and acceptance by Family's Camping Le Savoy. In the event the contracting party wishes to extend their stay, the rate in effect will apply. Any change from an upgrade to a downgrade will not result in any refund.
Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and early termination terms.
Any request by the CUSTOMER for modification or cancellation of the STAY must be sent to Family's Camping Le Savoy by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The deadlines mentioned below are counted from the date of receipt of this letter, the postmark being conclusive. Cancellation or modification of the STAY does not result in any refund; we advise you to take out cancellation insurance to cover any cancellation.
Unused Services

Any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure), or in the event of a no-show for a reserved accommodation due to the customer's fault, will not result in any refund for the said service.

Cancellation by Family's Camping Le Savoy

To obtain any compensation, we advise you to take out cancellation or interruption insurance when booking. In the event of a cancellation by Family's Camping Le Savoy, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation will not give rise to any claim for damages.

Cancellation Insurance

The price of the stay does not include cancellation insurance. This insurance is optional and is offered during the booking process.

7. YOUR STAY

Arrival

Camping Pitches: Arrivals are from 2:00 PM.
Rental Accommodations: On the day of your arrival, you will be welcomed from 4:00 PM, and upon receipt of the keys to your rental, a deposit will be required.
During Your Stay

The camping disclaims all responsibility in case of incidents falling under the camper's civil liability. All customers must comply with the rules set out in the internal regulations. Each primary tenant is responsible for any disturbances and nuisances caused by the persons staying with them or visiting them.

Departure

Rental Accommodations: On the departure day indicated in your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10:00 AM. The accommodation must be returned in perfect condition, and an inventory may be verified. Any broken or damaged item will be charged to you, as well as any necessary restoration of the premises.
The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, less any amounts withheld, based on supporting invoices, for any damages noted during the exit inspection. The retention of the deposit does not preclude further compensation if the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.
If the accommodation is not cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee of at least 80 euros will be charged.
For any late departure, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate, with a minimum charge of 60 euros.
8. VISITORS

Visitors are allowed within the camping grounds after presenting themselves at the camping reception and paying the visitor fee. Visitors will have access to the camping facilities, except for the aquatic areas.

9. PETS

Pets are allowed (except for dogs in categories 1 and 2) subject to a fee payable at the time of booking. They must be kept on a leash at all times. They are prohibited near pools, in food outlets, and in buildings. The vaccination record for dogs and cats must be up to date.

10. AUTHORIZATION TO REPRODUCE AND DISTRIBUTE IMAGES

During the Customer's stay, the Camping may take photographs and/or record videos within the camping grounds for the purposes of entertainment and/or communication, on all media, in which the Customer and accompanying persons may appear. By accepting the GTC, the Customer is deemed to authorize the Camping to use any photos and/or videos in which they appear for the aforementioned purposes. The Customer guarantees that they have obtained similar authorization from their accompanying persons. Any specific refusal must be notified in writing to the Camping.
The Customer or any accompanying person may request at any time, within a reasonable period, the removal of any image in which they are identifiable by sending a written request to the Camping.

11. INTERNAL REGULATIONS

The Customer agrees to review the Camping's Internal Regulations before arrival. They acknowledge that these Internal Regulations will govern their stay in addition to the GTC. The Internal Regulations are posted at the entrance of the establishment and at the reception. During the stay, the Customer agrees to comply with the Internal Regulations and ensure that persons staying with them or their visitors, who are under their responsibility, also comply. In the event of non-compliance with the Internal Regulations, the Camping is authorized to enforce them and, if necessary, adopt any measures, including exclusion from the camping without any refund of the stay price.

Any insult directed towards the camping managers or a member of the camping team will result in immediate expulsion from the camping without any possible refund. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the camping managers, either within or on the camping premises, and which has been verbally signaled, must be stopped immediately under penalty of exclusion from the camping.

12. COMPLAINTS / DISPUTES

Any complaint from a Customer regarding an issue during the stay must be precisely notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the Camping no later than twenty (20) days after the end of the stay by writing to the following address:

A copy of the complaint may be sent by the Customer to the Camping. Furthermore, if a non-conformity in the execution of the contractual services is observed on-site, the Customer is required to report it at the reception within 24 hours by phone at 09 88 66 77 80 with written confirmation by email to contact@family-camping-le-savoy.com or by postal mail to: Family's Camping Le Savoy, 115 Avenue du Parc, 73 190 Challes les Eaux.
Any request for a file review must be made in writing by the Customer within 14 days following the response sent by email or mail by the Camping; otherwise, the file will be considered closed.

In case of disagreement with Family's Camping Le Savoy regarding the handling of the complaint, and within one year after the Customer has submitted a written complaint to the Camping, the Customer will have the option to resort to the mediation services of CM2C – 49 Rue du Ponthieu 75008 Paris, as offered by the Camping. The Customer may send their mediation request electronically to: cm2c@cm2c.net

13. LIABILITY

The Customer expressly acknowledges that Family's Camping Le Savoy cannot be held responsible for communications made by its partners. All photos and texts used on the Family's Camping Le Savoy website are non-contractual and are provided for informational purposes only.

14. DATA PROTECTION

The information you provide us when placing your order will not be transmitted to any third party. This information will be considered confidential by Family's Camping Le Savoy. It will be used solely by Family's Camping Le Savoy to process your order and to enhance and personalize the communication and service offerings reserved for Family's Camping Le Savoy customers based on your interests. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and oppose the personal data concerning you.
