Terms and Conditions Camping River
Reservations
The reservation becomes firm when an installement of 30% of the total cost of the holiday for pitches or 50% of the total cost of the holiday for rental accommodation and a signed contract by the client are returned to the reservation service, before the deadline mentioned on the contract.
The administration fee of 18€ will be asked at the time of booking. In the case of a cancellation by the client, the administration fee will be retained by Camping River.
All reservations must be completed by a person 18 years or older.
Late reservations
In the event of a reservation being made less than 30 days before the arrival date, the total cost of the holiday will be required with the reservation.
Payment of balance
The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the arrival date on the presentation of an invoice. Failure to pay the balance (without contacting us) will result in the full loss of your deposit and administration fee and the reservation being cancelled. Consequently, the accommodation or pitch will be opened up for sale again. Processing fees of 3% will be applied in case of payment by ANCV.
Cancellations
All cancellations should be made by email or via the reservation service.
Cancellation by the client will result in the administration charge being withheld by Camping River and the following charges:
At least 30 days before the confirmed arrival date for a full refund of the deposit paid.
Between the 30th and the 21st day inclusive 30% of the holiday
Between the 20th and the 14th day inclusive 50% of the holiday
Between the 13th and the 8th day inclusive 70% of the holiday
With less than 7 days or in the event of a no show, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.
CANCELLATION IN CASE OF A PANDEMIC
In the event of a total or partial closure of the establishment during the dates of the reserved stay (to which is equal with a total or partial prohibition for the establishment to receive public, to the extent that the Customer is directly affected) decided by the public authorities, the sums paid in advance by the Customer for the booking of the stay will be subject to a refund within 14 days.
Camping River cannot, however, be required to make additional compensation beyond this reimbursement of the sums already paid for the booking of the stay.
Any cancellation of the stay, justified by the fact that the Client is affected by COVID 19 (infection) or other infection considered to be a pandemic, or would be identified as a contact case, and that this situation would call into question his participation in the stay on the scheduled dates will give rise to:
-the offer of a voucher of the amount you have already paid for you to rebook within 18 months of the proposal. In the absence of a new contract agreement after the 18 months, the voucher will be refundable.
The administration and management costs of 18€ as provided for under the terms and conditions will remain acquired by Camping River. In all cases, the Customer will have to justify the event making him eligible for this right to cancel.
In the event that the Client is forced to cancel the stay in its entirety due to government measures that do not allow participants to travel (general or local confinement, travel ban, border closure), even though the campsite is able to remain open and accommodate Customers, Camping River
-will issue a voucher corresponding to the sums paid by the Client. This voucher is valid for 18 months; it is refundable at the end of the validity period. In the absence of a new contract agreement, the administration and management costs of 18€ as provided for under the terms and conditions will remain acquired by Camping River.
Arrivals/ Departures
Pitches
The customer must present himself at the day and time mentioned on the contract. Pitches will be available from 14h on the day of arrival. In the case of a late arrival, please inform us by telephone (up to 22h). The pitch will be held for up to 24h after the arrival date stated on the contract. After this time, failure to contact us will result in the reservation being cancelled and the cancellation policy applies.
The pitches must be left clean and vacated by 12h on the day of departure.
No reduction will be considered in the case of a late arrival or early departure.
Arrivals/ Departures
Locations (Mobile homes, caravan bell tent)
The customer must present himself at the day and time mentioned on the contract. Holiday rentals will be available from 16h on the day of arrival. Late arrivals are possible (up to 22h) on the condition you have informed us by telephone.
A caution of 150€ (payable by cash, cheque or bank card) will be required for each rental on arrival. This will be returned on departure after a full check of the accommodation by a member of staff.
Rented accommodation must be vacated by 10h on the day of departure. The accommodation is expected to be left as you found it. Failure to do so will result in a 50€ cleaning fee plus charges for any damages being deducted from the caution.
No reduction will be considered in the case of a late arrival or early departure.
Insurance
Camping River recommends you take out travel insurance covering the consequences of a cancellation resulting from certain causes.
Complaints
Any complaint relating to the inexecution or the bad execution of the contract must be addressed in writing to the service of reservation and sent by registered post as soon as possible.
Insurance professional/civil liability
Camping River is insured under AXA - Contract no 30573041000887 for any consequences of the Professional Civil Liability that the activity can occur.
As the law states, all persons should adhere to the General Rules of Camping explained on the notice board at the reception.
General notices
All cars have access to the campsite from 8h – 22h for loading and unloading. For all pitches (except for pitches 1-8) and mobile homes, cars should be parked on the private carpark situated at the entrance to the campsite.
All visitors must make themselves known to the management and are under the responsibility of the guests receiving them. They should leave the campsite by 22h.
All Camping River guests should be aware of the general terms and conditions of the campsite (found on the welcome package that will be sent to you with your contract of reservation) and the general rules of Camping (found on the notice board at reception)
