TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Booking a stay implies full acceptance of these conditions.


1.Booking conditions

The rental is personal; subletting or transferring the pitch to a third party is strictly prohibited. The reservation becomes effective only with the campsite's approval, after receipt of the deposit, and upon receipt of either the duly completed and signed reservation contract or acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any reservation that does not comply with its regulations or attempts to circumvent them. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
As stated on the website, each accommodation or camping pitch is designed for a specific number of occupants. For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of occupants cannot be exceeded. Additionally, a baby is considered a full occupant. The campsite reserves the right to deny access to groups or families arriving with more people than the accommodation capacity allows.
Before returning the contract, please check availability with the campsite's reservation service.

2. Camping pitches and motorhome areas

Pitch: The basic package includes a designated pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome for one person, a vehicle on the pitch, access to sanitary facilities, and reception area amenities.

Motorhome Area: The basic package includes an unmarked pitch for a motorhome for two people, access to sanitary facilities, the motorhome service area, and reception area amenities.

3. Rental accommodation

1.MobileHome
These rental accommodations are fully equipped with furniture, tableware, pillows, and blankets. The basic package accommodates 2 to 6 people, depending on the type of rental.
Remember to bring your own sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases.

2. Rando-Etape, Canvas Tent, or Pêcherie
These so-called light rental accommodations are minimally equipped (pillows and blankets available on request). The basic package accommodates 2 to 6 people, depending on the type of rental.
Remember to bring your own bed linen.


3.Caballon
This unique accommodation includes a bedroom with a made-up bed upon arrival, a bathroom, and a toilet. Towels are provided. The basic package is for 2 people.

4. Group bookings

Any reservation of more than three accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are traveling together for the same purpose on the same dates is considered a group booking. Our accommodations are intended exclusively for individual guests.
For any group booking requests, you must contact us by phone, email, or via our website. We reserve the right to review the request before accepting or rejecting the reservation.

5. Rates, Tourist Tax, and Eco-Contribution

The prices indicated are valid for the 2025 season and are subject to change. The campsite reserves the right to modify rates at any time. Stays will be charged based on the rates in effect on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is recommended to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly. Prices are quoted per night or per week in euros, including 10% VAT.
Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate between the time the rates were set and the billing of the stay will result in a corresponding adjustment to the total price, which the client accepts without reservation.
No tourist tax is applied.
The eco-contribution is a financial contribution aimed at funding ecological initiatives. At our campsite, it helps offset the environmental impact of welcoming our guests while investing in environmentally friendly solutions.

6. Payment Conditions

For Village Vélo reservations (pitches or light accommodations within the Village Vélo—see campsite map on our website) and unique accommodations, full payment is required at the time of booking.
For all other reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a 30% deposit is required.

It is also possible to pay in 3 or 4 installments without fees; in this case, the financial institution's terms and conditions apply.
The balance must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival for both rentals and pitches. If you book less than 30 days before your arrival, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods: Credit card (CB, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard), bank checks in euros payable in France, vacation vouchers, and bank transfers. if full payment is not received 30 days before your arrival, the campsite reserves the right to consider the booking canceled. Payments made will not be refunded. If no communication is received within 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date, the reserved pitch may be reallocated. Payments made will not be refunded.
Any change in the number of occupants that may affect the fee must be reported upon arrival. If the client provides incorrect information, this contract will be terminated automatically, and any amounts paid will remain with the campsite.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to any group exceeding the capacity of the rental unit or if the registered names do not match upon arrival.


7. No right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L121-19 of the Consumer Code, the campsite informs its clients that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period provisions.

8. Stay

Check-in and Check-out on the day of your choice, except in July and August. The minimum stay duration varies depending on the period and type of accommodation—details available on our website.
1. Check-in
Camping pitch: Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Connection to electrical terminals must be made using cables and plugs that comply with current regulations.
A 50-meter cable and a European adapter are required, as the campsite does not provide this equipment.
Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Any pitch not vacated by this time will automatically be charged a late check-out fee.
Likewise, any arrival before 12:00 PM will incur an early check-in fee.
For all accommodations: Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Caballon accommodations: Check-in is between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM.
A security deposit will be required upon key collection.
The designated parking space for the rental is intended for one vehicle only. Any additional vehicles must park outside the campsite.
Late arrivals must be reported before 6:00 PM so that the campsite can make necessary arrangements.
If you wish to arrive in the morning, you must book the previous night.
Any arrival delay must be communicated to maintain your reservation. If the campsite does not receive any notice within 24 hours after your scheduled arrival date, your booking may be released, and no refunds will be issued.Changes in the number of guests that affect the fee must be reported upon arrival.
If false information is provided regarding the number of guests, the contract will be automatically terminated, and no refunds will be given.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse entry to guests exceeding the accommodation's capacity or if the provided names do not match upon arrival.
2. During Your Stay
Guests are responsible for their belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines any liability for incidents under the guest's civil responsibility.
All guests must comply with the campsite's internal rules. The primary guest is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by their group or visitors.
Undeclared extras (such as an additional person or pet) discovered during the stay will be charged from the arrival date.
3. Visitors
For security reasons, visitors must register at reception upon arrival.
The management reserves the right to deny access to unregistered visitors.
Visitors are not allowed to use the swimming pool.
4. Check-out
Rental accommodations: On the departure date listed on your reservation, the rental must be vacated by 11:00 AM. A check-out appointment must be scheduled at reception.
The rental must be left clean and in good condition. An inventory check will be carried out, and any damaged or missing items will be charged.
The security deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, minus any deductions for damages, with supporting invoices if applicable.
If the cost of damages exceeds the deposit, additional compensation may be required.
If the accommodation is not cleaned before departure, a minimum cleaning fee of €100 will be charged.
Late check-outs may result in an additional night being charged at the current rate.

9.Deposit

For Mobile Home rentals, a €400 security deposit is required upon arrival, to be paid by credit card imprint only, to cover any potential damages and possible cleaning fees at the end of the stay. The deposit will be returned within 24 hours at the latest after the accommodation has been inspected by the camping's cleaning team, minus any charges for damages, based on supporting invoices. The deposit retention does not exclude additional compensation if the costs exceed the deposit amount. Under no circumstances will the mobile home key be handed over without the deposit being paid.
For other accommodations, a deposit ranging from €20 to €100 may be requested when collecting the keys for certain light accommodations.
For camping pitches and accommodations without sanitary facilities, a deposit will be required for the shower activation bracelet (€5 per person) and for the rental of equipment.

10. Pets

Pets are allowed, except for 1st and 2nd category dogs and dogs weighing over 10kg, and only on non-equipped pitches, subject to a fee payable at the time of booking. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. They must not disturb the peace or safety of other guests and must comply with basic hygiene rules. Pets are prohibited near the pools and in the buildings. The dog's vaccination record must be up-to-date.
Any violation of the above rules may result in the exclusion of the guest(s) without refund.
Only ONE pet per pitch is allowed.

11. Cancellation and Changes

1. Modification of your réservation
The customer may request to modify their stay (camping, dates, and/or type of accommodation) in writing to the campsite (by letter or email), depending on availability and possibilities. No transfer will be accepted to the following season. The customer is informed that if the stay is modified, they will not be able to benefit from promotions that may be available after their initial reservation, as the date of the first booking prevails. If no modification is made, the customer must adhere to the original booking conditions or cancel according to the cancellation insurance terms.
• Any request to extend your stay will be based on availability and the current rates.
• Any request to shorten the stay will be considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption conditions.
If no message from you indicates a change in your arrival date, the accommodation may be available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the booking, and you will consequently lose the benefit of your reservation.
2. Unused services
Any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) by your choice will not be refunded, regardless of the reason provided.
3. Cancellation by the campsite
In case of cancellation by the campsite, except in the case of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded.
However, this cancellation will not entitle you to any compensation.
4. Cancellation by the camper
Cancellation and interruption insurance is offered, it is optional but strongly recommended. It is calculated on the total amount of the rental (5.5% of the stay). This insurance allows for reimbursement of amounts paid in case of cancellation or modification of stay for a reason covered by the general conditions. It also covers reimbursement of paid but unused stay fees in case of early departure. The amount is payable only at the time of booking and is added to the deposit, and applies to registered persons. It is the responsibility of the policyholder to review the general conditions of insurance available on the campsite's website.
Without subscribing to cancellation insurance, any amount paid will not be refunded.

12. Assurance Annulation

Cancellation insurance can only be subscribed to at the time of the initial booking request.
NEAT is the insurer that manages the cancellation or interruption of stay. The customer agrees to review the general insurance terms provided during their initial booking. The general terms of cancellation insurance can be consulted at any time on our website: http://www.campinglestuaire.fr

13. Rules of procedure

Campers must comply with the campsite and pool rules.



14. Campsite responsibility

Under no circumstances does the campsite assume responsibility for the safekeeping of personal belongings and items within the park.
The campsite's liability, beyond its legal responsibilities, cannot be engaged in the event of:
Theft, loss, damage, or deterioration of personal belongings of any kind, during or following a stay.
Breakdown or malfunctioning of technical equipment, breakdown or permanent or temporary closure of certain campsite facilities when these are beyond its control and due to force majeure.
Temporary measures taken by the campsite management to limit access to certain facilities, including changing rooms and the pool, when required for safety compliance or periodic maintenance work.
Damage caused or suffered by customer vehicles parked or moving within the campsite, even if they were expressly authorized to enter.
Changes to the animation program or activities offered.
In low season, and for reasons related to attendance, the campsite reserves the right to modify or cancel certain facilities, amenities, services, or activities planned. For any booking in low season, we recommend contacting the campsite to confirm these details.

15. Image rights

During your stay, you may be photographed and appear in all our publications and any type of media without time limitation. In case of refusal, you must notify us by registered letter before your arrival.

16. Personal information

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is informed that the personal data marked as mandatory, collected as part of the reservation, is necessary for the execution of the reservation. The customer has the right to access, rectify, and object to the transfer of this data to third parties, which they can exercise by sending a letter to CAMPING L'ESTUAIRE – 1 Chemin de l'Estuaire – 44560 PAIMBOEUF.

18. Claims

All complaints regarding the conditions of the stay must be made on-site to the Management in order to allow them to find an immediate solution. If the response is not satisfactory, you have the option to contact the Mediation Center. The contact details of the consumer mediator are as follows:
